San Antonio Breastfeeding Coalition

San Antonio Breastfeeding Resources

We're here for you!

Breastfeeding is a gift of nature, rich in nutrients and immunities. The San Antonio Breastfeeding Coalition wants you to know that if you are nursing, you are providing your child with the very best. It can be difficult at times but YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The longer you nurse, the easier it becomes. The resources listed on this page are local organizations that can help you with your breastfeeding needs. And of course, you are welcome to contact SABC with questions as well. We'd be happy to help or point you in the right direction.

Hospital-based Lactation Services

The following contacts have International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, breastpump rentals, and/or breastfeeding products for purchase.

If you are delivering at one of these hospitals, a lactation consultant will come (upon request) after delivery to help start your breastfeeding relationship with your child.

Regardless of where you delivered, you can call and speak to a lactation consultant with breastfeeding questions AT NO CHARGE.  Business hours are typically 9 - 3, M-F.
